Torneko Paapa
I’m sorry for the delay in updates due to my busy main job><
After getting exhausted from work and feeling hungry, I suddenly craved a rich garlic-flavored ramen.
So, I headed to Torneko Paapa, which a friend had recommended!
When you hear “Torneko Paapa,” it probably makes you think of Dragon Quest, right? ^-^
It was introduced as “A gesture of appreciation to fathers working in Naha.”
That really touches the heart (´;ω;`)
It’s a ramen and rice shop, and I’m grateful to my friend for introducing me to this new and unique experience!
As noted on the left side of the picture under “Kottori” (rich), the soup combines the famous “Jiro-style” broth with Ie-kei (home-style) soup. I was so intrigued by this fusion!
On that day, I couldn’t focus on anything other than the “Kottori” (rich) option (haha).
Store Exterior
Walk along the Pallet Kumoji street towards the city hall, then turn right at the diagonal intersection onto Izumizaki Street.
Before reaching the bridge that connects to Route 58, you’ll see this building on the left corner!
Sorry for the vague directions >< If you get lost, please refer to the [Store Information] at the bottom.
The warm light illuminating the store somehow made me feel relaxed and comforted when I saw it—exactly what I needed after a tiring day.

The moment I saw the ticket vending machine, all I could focus on was the Kottori Uma-Uma Torneko Ramen! (haha)
As I write this, I keep finding myself getting interested in more options!
fter purchasing the ticket, I looked to the left and saw Musashiya Ramen—a rich, hearty ramen with tons of toppings!
Ramen with rice seems to be a cultural thing here! Looking at the ingredients, it’s clear that the rice pairs perfectly with the dish!
※Please note that this event may not be taking place currently.
The long-awaited ramen!!
The soup bubbles up, sparkling with foam!
And just the amount of garlic I was craving!! (haha)
It still wasn’t enough, so I added more garlic for an extra punch!
Though the soup is rich, thanks to the garlic, I could drink it down in big gulps! (haha)
The medium-thick noodles lift the flavorful broth, and the sensation of slurping them into your mouth is something you definitely need to try!
The pork is tender with a light, refreshing salt flavor, and dipping it into the soup before eating is also a great option!
