Sakanaction
“Ko-no-ma-ma, kimi wo tsurete iku to~♪
Tei-nei, tei-nei, tei-nei ni utau to~♪
Yure tari, furuetari shita tte~♪
Tei-nei, tei-nei, tei-nei ni utau to kime teta kedo~♪
(Sakanaction – “Shin Takara Jima”)
But wait, this isn’t Sakanaction! What I’m introducing today is [Sakana Akushon]! (haha)
I went to buy some fried chicken from Karaage Honpo Fukuya, but when I got there, I found the shop was closed!!
As I noticed a banner, I followed it… and found a new tsukemen and ramen shop!
Its name? Sakana Akushon—please don’t confuse it with “Sakanaction”! (haha)
Apparently, it opened on October 11, 2022, and it’s a brand-new shop.
I heard it was produced by a Michelin-awarded restaurant, so I was really curious and decided to check it out!
Store Exterior
The exterior doesn’t seem to have any particular unique features.
However, the lovely sign was there, waiting to greet customers (haha).
Store Interior
The space featured tables and chairs with a wood-grain design and walls in a clean, cream color.
It created a lovely and welcoming atmosphere.
And, of course, the store was playing real Sakanaction songs in the background!
I also visited during the daytime.
I was able to sit at the counter seats, which were spacious and comfortable to use.
At Sakana Akushon, it seems they make their noodles in-house.
Toward the back of the store, you can watch the noodle-making process through a glass window.
Rich Sea Urchin Tsukemen, Niboshi Soy Sauce Ramen, and Niboshi Mazesoba
Rich Sea Urchin Tsukemen (Large Serving)!! + White Rice + Karaage
Arriving with a bubbling aroma wafting through the air!
The rich sea urchin soup is packed with the full flavor and aroma of high-quality sea urchin—the kind that tastes absolutely delicious!
The noodles are smooth, firm, and perfectly paired with the soup. I couldn’t stop eating! (haha)
The karaage was freshly fried to a crisp—absolutely GooD!!
And to finish, I dropped the remaining soup over the rice. Not a single drop was left behind!
This is the [Niboshi Soy Sauce Ramen]. The soup, infused with rich flying fish broth, is absolutely exquisite, with a refreshingly clean aftertaste that’s just perfect!
The char siu, in particular, is grilled to perfection and tastes incredible!
If you’re a fan of lighter flavors, this is a must-try!
The last dish I’d like to introduce is the [Addictive Spicy Niboshi Mazesoba].
Mix it up thoroughly to make sure all the flavors blend together perfectly~♪
Once you take the first bite, you’ll find yourself reaching for the next one in no time (haha).
The char siu and egg mix together beautifully, creating a truly addictive flavor!
Summary
We’ve introduced three different menu items, and now that I think about it…
I ended up finishing every single one of these noodle dishes down to the very last drop!
As expected from a restaurant produced by a Michelin-awarded establishment, the quality and deliciousness were truly impressive.
The store also has its own parking lot, making it convenient and easy to visit. Be sure to give it a try at least once!
