It’s already December, and Christmas is just around the corner!

After Christmas, it’s the New Year…

Time really flies, doesn’t it?!

Have you decided on a date spot for Christmas or New Year’s Eve yet?

“Hmm, what should we do?” “I haven’t decided yet!” “I’m so undecided!”

To all of you busy people—

You’re lucky to be reading this!!

I really didn’t want to share it with anyone… (haha)

But don’t worry, this is a site that introduces truly delicious spots!!

It’s a place that’s been rumored about in bars across the central, southern, and northern parts of Okinawa.

And it’s said to be the best bar in the central area, with numerous bartenders agreeing on that!

So, let me introduce you to this amazing spot I found!!

Directions to the Store

Head straight down Okinawa City’s Airport Road (Gate Street), and when you see Music Town on your right, continue straight through the intersection.

After about 1km, you’ll find the store on the second floor on the left!

If you look closely at the photo, you can spot a small sign in the upper left corner.

The sign visible on the 2nd floor is the one!

The parking lot is not in front of the store, but there is a dedicated parking lot for BAR BODEGA behind the building!

There is a sign with parking details on the left side of the stairs, but I forgot to take a photo of it… sorry about that!

At first glance, the exterior may not give away much about the interior, but once you step inside, you’ll be surprised.

When you open the door,

You’re greeted by a stylish showcase, along with glasses and wine bottles!

The atmosphere completely changes from the outside!

After sanitizing, I was guided into the store and seated at the counter.

The view from the counter is amazing!

In front of me were several bottles, and I was relaxed by the romantic lighting and decorations.

This atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a drink alone, for a date, or even for a business meeting!

It’s truly an attractive space for adults.

Of course, there is a menu, but I was going to share it here…

However, I suggest you look forward to it until you visit!

As I mentioned earlier, this is the place that is rumored to be the best bar in the central area!

This time, I’ll introduce a few drinks from the menu.

And of course, there’s a food menu too!

Mojito

The mint aroma is just right, and the refreshing mint scent that escapes through your nose when you drink it is absolutely delightful! (haha)

Martini

With a subtle bitterness, it has a perfect balance of sourness, offering a refreshing and distinctive taste!

The cocktail menu is also extensive, and of course, there’s a wide selection of wines and whiskies as well!

Discovered a Fine Liquor!!!

There was, of course, a fine liquor too!

KAVALAN Podium
KAVALAN is a name that any whiskey lover has likely heard of, right?

This Taiwanese whiskey has won the title of the world’s best!

When you take a sip, it surprisingly has a light mouthfeel with a subtle sweetness. You can also feel a slight oaky bitterness, but it adds a refined touch that makes it quite addictive! (haha)

After savoring the flavor for a while, I was given a “one-drop” of water. When you drop it in, the water slowly disperses through the whiskey, sinking to the bottom, which is fun to watch.

As you bring the glass closer and inhale, a floral aroma of honey and something reminiscent of apples bloom in the air!! (haha)

There are still many other scents I can’t fully describe, but I have a lot to learn! (haha)

Summary

Although I’m not an expert on alcohol, I was fortunate to have encountered such fine spirits during my visit, and much of this blog ended up focusing on my whiskey review. The owner of the bar provided such exceptional service, and I was truly impressed by everything they offered.

If you’re ever unsure about something, don’t hesitate to ask—the owner is more than happy to share their knowledge with you! I learned a lot during my visit! (laughs)

Next time, I plan to focus on the food offerings as well, and I’ll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend visiting for Christmas or to wrap up your year with a drink. It’s a place where, once you step inside, you’ll forget you’re even in Okinawa (laughs).
